Until January 17, 2008 this page contained a large set of photographs of Whissendine Windmill meant, initially, for our internal company use only.  Despite requests not to, links to the page have been published prominently and so, with regret, it has been decided that the photos should be removed.

Having been ripped-off by national organizations e.g. SPAB (The Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings) and local ones e.g. Melton Borough Council and the owners of Wymondham Windmill, and even millwright Adam Marriott, we and our photographer are fed up with, in effect, subsidizing the publishing efforts of those who should know better.

Following our photographer's complaint, fifty images were removed from SPAB's most image-dense webpage, leaving it devoid of photos.  We can only assume that these constituted fifty cases of copyright infringement.

On January 18, 2008 Mr Philip Venning, OBE, MA, FSA, FRSA, the Secretary of The Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings, confirmed that he would be sending us a written apology for SPAB's copyright infringement.  As yet, nothing has been received.
