Soyfoods Ltd - suppliers of organic, vegetarian & vegan foods

Known to many as Paul's Tofu or simply Paul's, Soyfoods Ltd was the UK's first manufacturer of tofu and has been based in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire for over 30 years.  We supply a wide range of organic foods, including fruit and vegetables, dairy produce, and our own breads.

Tofu & vegetable protein products

Our tofu is made from organically grown beans coagulated by natural nigari and is available in small packs and marinated as well as 3kg catering blocks.  Seitan, tempeh, ganmodoki and a variety of tofu burgers, pasties, pies and samosas complete our range of vegetable protein products.  Pack sizes, prices and nutrition information are available via the Products page.

Breads

The wide range of breads from Paul's Bakery includes sourdough types leavened by naturally occurring yeasts and types using flour mixes for special dietary requirements.  We also bake fairly normal loaves and rolls and all the types baked in tins can be supplied sliced.  Weights and price information is available on the Products page.

Our celebration breads will help break the ice at any gathering – please get in touch to discuss your requirements.  If you'd like to try your hand at baking you can order flour ground at Whissendine Windmill and even arrange for a visit from our woodburning oven!

Organic produce

Fresh organic produce is collected direct from growers or imported from European wholesalers.  Prices and availability are influenced by the seasons so many personal customers use our box delivery scheme for a fixed price selection according to their individual preferences.  Wholesale price lists as PDFs are available for download from the Order page.

Safe and Local Supplier Approval

Paul's Organics' SALSA Audit Certificate (expiry date: 8th April, 2022; 211kB) covers the manufacture of vegan and vegetarian food including organic tofu, tofu burgers, pastries, tempeh, age, ganmodoki, original & plain seitan. Also organic bread and bread products. In-house distribution.

Delivery

Our refrigerated lorries make regular deliveries to customers along the M1 and A1 corridors, from London to Manchester.  Please contact us to discuss delivery options for destinations outside this area.

Farmers' Markets & other events

We now support over 20 local foods initiatives such as Farmers' Markets.  Our woodburning bread oven can be brought to schools for a hands-on demonstration of breadmaking techniques, with discussion of wider implications such as sustainable lifestyles.
